The DfE have reinforced the need to “create and reinforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values”.
The DfE says that the government’s five part definition of ‘British Values’ are as follows:
- Tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs
- Democracy
- The rule of law
- Mutual respect
- Individual liberty
Further updated information on how we have embedded these values throughout our school, both within and beyond the curriculum, will be added to this section of the school website in Spring 2023.
