Please ensure children bring their Swimming kit every Monday. Kit includes costume (no loose fitting shorts for boys), swimming cap (rubber ones preferred) and a towel. Please be aware that children are responsible for transporting their own kit to and from the pool.
For further information about swimming, click here to see the guidelines from Kirklees.
Please ensure your child has their indoor PE kit in school every Thursday (4CB) and Friday (4MH).
Homework will be set on a Friday and is expected to be returned on Thursday the following week.
Please support your child and encourage the completion of homework as it will either revisit work already taught that week or prepare the children for what is coming up the next week.
You can view the homework your child has been set by selecting Pupils > Year Group Homework > Year 4 Homework.

Christmas Jumper Day
Thank you very much to everyone who brought a donation for charity when the children came to school in their Christmas jumpers!
Thank you very much for your kind voluntary contributions for Roman Day - it was a great success! The children thoroughly enjoyed their day and learnt lots from our visiting Roman.
Roman Day - 30th November 2018
We have organised for a Roman workshop to be held at school on the 30th November. The workshop will be run by an experienced company who will provide some exciting learning opportunities for the children. We would like the children to become fully immersed with their learning and ask that they come to school dressed as a Roman for the day. This does not require expensive outfits, below are some ideas of how you can make an outfit.
The cost of the workshop is £6.50 per child and will be available to pay on Parent Pay - thank you.
