Polite Reminder

Just a polite reminder that all items of clothing should have your child's name in - including coats, PE/Swimming kits and school uniform. This helps us to return items back to their owner quickly.

Forms

Should your child have to miss PE/break times due to illness or injury, please complete the form.

If your child is unable to remove their earrings for PE, pleases complete the form.

Homework

Homework is set on a Friday and should be completed by the following Thursday.

Please support your child and encourage the completion of homework as it will either revisit work already taught that week, or prepare the children for what is coming up the next week.

PE

Please make sure your child comes to school in the correct PE kit on PE days.

Swimming

All of Year 4 are swimming at the start of the year. Lessons start w.b 1st September 2025 and finish w.b 2nd February 2026.

Swimming lessons are on a Tuesday. Children need to arrive at school earlier on this day, between 8.30am and 8.40am.

Indoor PE

Swimming replaces indoor PE until w.b 9th February 2026.

Indoor PE is on a Wednesday, when we are not swimming. 

Outdoor PE

Outdoor PE is on a Friday.

We try to go out in all weathers, therefore we recommend children bring a thin waterproof coat/sports jacket they can wear for a PE lesson.
